No offense, but i see the Chap as a gentleman's knife, and gentlemen in my world don't carry FRN
No offense!
No offense taken! But for this girl sometimes James Bond looks better in something less than an Armani suit ;)
But for the record Sal is in favor of an FRN Chap. Also more Chaps are on the horizon in different flavors.

In my opinion a Forum knife should be an everyman's (or woman's) knife, it's fine to stretch that definition a bit to allow for exotic steels or cosmetic differentiation, but a $250+ knife would make it too exclusive for many members.

I like having an engraved blade with the year and issuing forum's name or logo.

As far as the next forum knife, I think a PM3 or Wharncliffe Delica is most fitting, I'd be OK with no forum knife in '17, since I'll already be buying at least four of the new releases, more likely six :P

The Sprint Caly 3 in HAP40 has given me hope that an upgraded steel variant of the Kiwi 4 might sneak in to the Sprint production lines some day soon :D but I don't see it as a fitting forum knife, at least not this year.

I hear you (and Sal ..and every other FRN fans) :) It's a personal thing, i like Delica, Dragonfly, Endura and Stretch in FRN. Native and Manix, i prefer G10 any day of the week. That's what makes Spyderco a great brand, we can both find the perfect knife in house, win-win!

Two birds with one stone; Cento sprint as the forum knife? Looks classy even with FRN and not too many have it. Not too expensive either... Hap40 and burnt orange? Racing green and/or ZDP could work as well

I'm voting for the Jazz Delica. I also like the blade saying 'Forum Knife' and the year.

Like SpyderNut, I'm always looking forward to the forum knife. Please do put the "Forum Knife 'date'" on it, if I can influence the vote.
