I saw that too. I bet rwl34.
Also, the caly3 is green. Is it hap40 or zdp? Why not burnt orange if hap40?
I think bc it's discontinued like the worker so they're using same green

So many new knives. Very nice job Spyderco. I was hoping to see a Caribbean too. Maybe in Amsterdam and Mid-year. Fingers crossed.

Knife news says it's RWL34 with white polished g10. A flash batch is a new concept. Basically a sprint run of a model that has never been made before. Production concept model. Love it

HAP40. And it is green because it better looking on Caly3.
I already have dark green Native5 and will have dark green Caly3. :) What else man needs (dark green Caly3.5 :) )

My top choices Natives5, Calys, C83 Persian

They may not have been able to source burnt orange G10. That would be my guess. It isn't gonna be ZDP, there was already a regular production Caly3 in ZDP that got discoed.

This knife makes me very, very anxious!!! Dreams do come true!

AFAIK, there's no such thing as burnt orange G10. It would have to be a special batch dye job from the standard safety orange (or whatever its called) color...

Also, did I miss where it was verified the PM3 would be released in 2016? Sorry if I didn't catch that tidbit. :) I keep seeing Minuteman being used as its name on IG for it as well, did I miss that official call too?

For me, most of the interesting stuff is on the Sprints page. Little sad that it doesn't say Caly 3.5 instead of 3 but I'm not complaining that much. A pure slab of HAP40 would have been nice though (like the SB series)! Other nice ones for me were the SE PM2, Max N5, Advocate (which I do expect very soon), S110V UKPK, Lil' Nilakka, and of course the sprint Baby Horn! :D

Some sellers are taking pre-orders on the para 3. Think they said it will be here in dec.

So many details... the hap40 sprint is with g10 and not frn. I missed that.

Spyderco's pics on social media all said December 2016. The name is officially Para 3. I've seen some dealers still referring to it as Minuteman & Paramilitary 3 but those are not correct.

Guess it would have helped if I had actually noticed there was some text in those pics! ;) All I saw was the knife. It's like that "are you paying attention to the obvious guy in the gorilla suit" video :p

Hmmm...Q-ball vs Wharnie Delica decision to make now.

Native 5 Maxamet. 2 birds with one stone? I don't have the blade or the steel yet.

The Chef's knife looks good. The Karahawk looks spiffy all blacked out.

There's a discrepancy regarding Lil’ Nilakka Flash Batch on page 108 of the new catalog. The description says RWL 34 but the specs say CPM S30V.

If you're wondering about the proportions and specs of the Para 3 vs the Para Military 2, p 27 of the catalog shows it to scale.
