My sweet wife.

#1

Post by ShawnKirkpatrick »

So my birthday isn't till December, but my wife had dropped hints she was getting some new spydercos. Yesterday I had a pretty rough day at work and got home and she decided to give them to me early cause of the day I had. I open up the two wrapped boxes and in the first one is a yojimbo2! I was so excited to see this knife. It wasn't on my wish list but my wife has heard me talk about what an interesting knife it is and how it'd be nice to have. So she took the plung and bought it. Then the second box I opened had the dragonfly2 with the G-10 scales. This knife is just so classy looking. I love these knifes and even more that my beautiful wife bought. I see that my yojimbo is going to need to be sharpened. There are 2 microchips near the pivot area of the blade. I'm guessing it's what I've read about a couple of sharpening will get it down to new steel that will hold a better edge? Anyway. I love these knifes.

Nice knives, wonderful wife. Happy early birthday!

I like her taste in knives, and you received the Yojimbo 2 just in time for Wharncliffe Wednesday.

Those little chips should sharpen out without too much trouble, and exposing fresh steel should help too.

Nice. Those two knives make for an awesome edc pair. One for self defense, and one for cutting tasks.

Your wife sounds a lot like mine!

She doesn't buy me knives, but never discourages me either. :)

Hope you bought her a nice bunch of flowers! ;)

Haha actually I've been looking at the new iPad for her. She's not much for flowers. :D
