Thanks Kristi, I have all but two from the list that I want. Still need to grab the G10 Manbug and the Dog Tag Folder (ended up gifting the 2 that I had). Having this list posted is very helpful. :) :spyder:

Guess I'm a little tired. When I looked at the list I thought the Stretch was going, going, gone. Totally forgot the Stretch 2. I feel much better now.

It's weird because there are a number of models on the list that I wasn't interested in before, that are now standing out because they're being discontinued! Knives like the friction folder or Spy-DK.

Also, sad to see the Kiwi 4 go, will definitely have to pick up another one just to have. :spyder:

That Draper sure didn't last long. Wonder why a model like that doesn't end up on closeout special. Just timing/size of production run or another reason?

Only puzzlement is the VG-10 Stretch. Could have sworn it was discontinued a couple years ago.

Sorry to see the Hungarian go; great model that didn't ever seem to get a ton of traction.

Agree w/ ABX2011 on the Draper; never saw much of that one around at all.

This has to be the first year I've been following along that I wasn't surprised at a single model being discontinued.

I didn't even notice the Hungarian, my son has one and it really is a nice piece. I'm thinking maybe I should add this to my list too, it has all the makings of a sought after piece once gone. :spyder:

I'm glad I already own my favorites listed here. Excited and sad to see the Police 3 go, but it has to make room for the Police 4. I just didn't realize the 4 was really that close to being unveiled.

Tell me more about the discontinuation of the Stretch: Will more Stretches with FRN come out or is that it?

Stretch 2 FRN is forthcoming.

I thought that was kind of strange too. It wasn't listed in the 2015 or 2016 catalogs.

Was the Jump Master most likely discontinued due more to poor/low sales, or, in order to make room for the Jump Master 2, and forthcoming fixed blade Salt knives?

Regarding the to-be discontinued Dog Tag folder: I am sure this can apply to many discontinued Spyderco knives, but, due to its unique structure I estimate it will be a very "one of a kind" unique item for sale on the rare knife market.

The biggest disco's like the Stretch, K2, and Police have updated versions coming....

Kind of expecting the Firefly to be on this list. Not that I don't like it, but I'd like it to be on clearance. :)
