Anyone ever seen this?
Anyone ever seen this?
I've looked all over the place but cannot find any information on this knife. Anyone care to enlighten me? I bought it for $13.00 a sporting goods store, so I doubt it is worth a fortune <img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>

oh yeah, you can find a wealth of knowledge when it comes to <img src="spyder.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0> knives on the "Spyderco Story" authored by Kenneth Delavigne, published by Paladin Press.. There is a backgrounder on the "Q" and its successor the "R".. Well, the Spyderco Story is a quissential item to any Spydernut.. <img src="spyder.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0><img src="wink.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0><img src="spyder.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>

Welcome, Warrzie!
You have the mostcommon pattern of the Q knife. Still, if it's in new condition, there aresome fiends on ebay who would gladly pay you $60-75 (recent sales)for that model. Some of the rarer ones (USFlag, Mountains,Palm Trees) can go as high as >$100.
I'm not much into collecting them, but I do have the same model you have. I just enjoy its elegance and simplicity.

Howdy Warrzie! Welcome to <img src="spyder.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>Land! <img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>
That particular Q is fairly common, and as such isn't worth any great amount. It is worth more than you paid though, probably around $30.
Never underestimate the impossible.
