Will not happen. Bud Nealy already does collaborations with Boker of Germany.

Jurphaas- Yes I know for the fixed blade knives he collaborates with Boker, but does that prevent Bud from designing a tactical self-defense folder for Spyderco?

I like E. Bradichansky's models. Too bad he passed away <img src="sad.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>
Other Spyderco collaborations I like: B. Frank, H. Viele, F. Centofante, B. Terzuola.
I'd like to see a Ken Onion design for Spyderco.

Jeff, Irecall a conversation with Sal about two years ago where he told me that he no longer would continue the collaborations with Bob T because he did a collaboration with Benchmade. You do either Spyderco or an other Company. When collaborations, Spyderco looks for exclusive relations. Ken O started out about 6 or 7 years ago with the Colt Phyton models for United Cutlery. Now he has sold his life to Kershaw. So probably never any Spyderco's from his design. Have a great day.

Just my 2 roubles.
Typical Bud Nealy's desighn is a straight flat fixed blade. Don't think it goes well with current image of spyderco.

I would really love to see a Spyderco Niel Blackwood collaboration. I feal that one thing missing from the Spyderco line up is a decient sized recurved blade, and Niels work really hits the spot.

Hello All,
I really like the idea of joint knife with Bud Nealy and <img src="spyder.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0> on the order of Bud's new "AT", Appalachian Trail, or the Pocono. I'm looking at a flat ground fixed blade of 3 to 3 7/8 in long with CPM440V; not the ATS 34 Bud usually uses. I am into outdoor utility and hunting knives; not martial arts, so some forumites can address that side of Bud's work better than I.
I would also like to see Bud's outdoor Dual-Lock sheath or the Moran Tek-Lok sheath system.
Jeffrey, thanks for initiating this thread. Even though this idea may go nowhere; it is only thru this type of out of the box thinking that keeps <img src="spyder.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0> so competitive.
