Thanks for the heads up. I've been interested in this model. Not sure if I prefer this one or the original CF better? Tough choice. I kinda wish they would have done a different steel on this exclusive. 204p or M390 probably would have made me grab my wallet.

Thanks for the heads up! I'd love to get this one but I'm still waiting on the nirvana, then it's the CF M4 PM2 from knifeworks. If these are still available in two months time I'll pick one up for sure. I'm a sucker for orange g10.

Judging from what I've seen on their Instagram post and this thread here I'd say this knife isn't going to fly off the shelf.

I don't know how many were ordered, but I would agree this could be available for a while. The normal Positron is more 'high end' due to the CF and the preference many have for it. Also, I don't know that this model has been a hot seller but I'm only basing that on this forum and the so-so reviews we have seen. Interesting, nonetheless. Rarely see totally unexpected exclusives.

I too am surprised to see this one...Granted, I'm basing my "hunch" on the buzz from this forum and a couple others I watch, but it doesn't seem like the Positron gets a lot of hype from the "afis", so it's interesting to see it chosen for a sprint/exclusive. Maybe the sales to non-afis have been strong, though. Flippers in general do seem quite popular, and though CF is higher-end, a lot of people seem to like orange, too.

Personally, I will probably pass since I really only collect users these days and the ergos on the Positron just don't fit my hand that well. The handle is just a bit too short for my tastes, and I'm just too used to finger choils.

I held one of the cf models the other day at SFO. The clip digs into my palm and the handle is just a tad too short. I do like the look of it, I like the blade length and the flipping action is fine.

I had one and hated it. Worst thing was the lock. I couldn't disengage it without difficulty.
