First and foremost, a huge THANK YOU to everyone who participated in the 2017 Forum Calendar Contest! This year proved to be a challenge to judge simply because we had SO many fantastic images to choose from. The number of submissions was awesome, but the content of those submissions was inspiring.

Ok now that it's sunk in that I somehow made it this year, I gotta say with full sincerity in every word, congratulations to everyone, great work on every entry, and to Spyderco, THANK YOU! I can think of maybe one other time when I felt so honored. For an entire month, some large number of people are going to be looking at a picture I created. How cool is that?! Especially to be among the the other amazing work included this year! I really can't express how excited, surprised, and honored I am, so I'll just shut up and submit my file. This place is the best! WOO!

I'm absolutely shocked. Thank you so much Spyderco crew! I spent almost an entire weekend working on this and was reminded why I love photography in the first place. Photography is fun! Spyderco knife photography is more fun!
