Hey guys I was getting ready to pull the trigger on a blurple manix 2 s100v g10. They don't have them at store around where I live so I don't get to handle one first. I have handled the regulare s30v g10 and love how solid the knife feels with the steel liners. It feels like a tank. Its just a little heavir then I would like. I understand the blurple versions have skeletonized liners making them almost an ounce lighter putting the knife in the range that I can carry without feeling the weight to much. My question is does the blurple s110v with the skeletonized liners feel as solid as the full liner s30v? I would love to drop the weight but don't want to love the rigidity. Thanks for any help guys.

1) I'm not entirely sure about being a dull ounce lighter.

2) Yes, the skeletonized versions feel every bit as solid and rigid as the standard version.

3) I can't say for sure if the S110V version is skeletonized or not.

They may not be a whole ounce lighter but they are at least 3/4 according to the specs online. They are skeletonized according to what I have read elsewhere.

Yes the liners are skeletonized, that's been confirmed. Although I've never held the S110V version I've had other sprints and they are just as tough as their full liner counterpart.

The blurple one is the only one I have and the liners are for sure skeletinized.

Skeletonized liners, when done properly, aren't something you'd notice except for a lower weight. I have the lightweight Manix 2 and can say it feels pretty stout despite being very lightweight. I imagine the G-10 version with S110V would be perfect. I'm getting one eventually.

Liners are definitely skeletonize. To me, feels more substantial in the hand versus the LW. As an example, you can squeeze the LW handle & it will deform slightly. I don't currently own a S30 Manix 2. IIRC, the S110 feels just as solid with the added benefit of lighter weight.

Smoothest action, by a long shot, of the three Manix 2's I currently own.

I find the balance on the skeletonized Manix 2s to be just a touch better with the lighter liners. (I have the CTS-XHP and M4 models). I assume an S110V would be the same on that count at least. Maybe I will order on of these if I am enthused with the S110V PM2 I have on preorder (I got in a little late and just ordered a couple of months ago so I dunno when I will see one, but I am looking forward to it).

There's no perceivable difference aside from being slightly lighter overall and shifting weight balance slightly more towards the blade.

I'll be shocked if you're disappointed with it. The Manix2 is one of my favorite knives and I definitely prefer them with skeletonized liners. The weight difference isn't enormous but it's definitely noticeable. In the end it's still not a light knife but it's definitely management.
