Just had to post...

Postby chuck_roxas45 » Sat May 21, 2016 8:17 pm

I was hauling a few things and I needed to cut some rope and cardboard. Out came my SB Caly 3.5 to do the job. I put it on the roof of my pickup truck and promptly forgot about it. I drove around 5 km to my house and when I changed my clothes, I remembered my caly. I probably broke some kind of record running out to the truck.

Whew!!!! I had great luck today, the caly was still on the roof!

So there, I really had to post that. :D

Chuck,
First off, good to see you back. :) It's been too long. Secondly, glad to hear that your story had a happy ending. ;)

A smooth knife for an apparently very smooth driver.

Thanks all and especially Mister G. Yah, it's nice to have a bit of luck sometime. Definitely one of my favorite knives there.

One of many benefits of not driving like an *******. Glad to hear your knife was safe and sound.

Wow! What a relief! I cannot imagine how that knife managed to stay on top of a moving truck for 5 miles. I am glad you got your knife back safe and sound.

In many States you can be arrested for allowing a child to ride on the top of a truck. Perhaps you should be arrested for knife abuse?! :D

Nice to have you back Chuck!

Phewh! That one is hard to replace if lost...

I think it's also testament to your driving, I don't think the road is that smooth ... perhaps similar to road down here.
