Which Lil Temperance Model Do You Prefer

#1

Post by SpydercoKnut »

They make two versions of this knife. The first model has the leaf point blade and the other is the trailing point model. Which one do you prefer? I personally think the trailing point version is more of a self defense knife then a real cutter. I could be wrong. You win either way because this is a good knife.

Nut - I have yet to be able to make a personal evaluation, but I do have an order for the leaf blade model in the pipeline from <font color=blue">Fair Lady GlassHartt</font color=blue">

I certainly will let y'all know when it finally comes in. Prolly won't have to post for you to know, either.

I have the leaf blade and just can't say enough good things about it.It's my favorite Spyderco and the best folder that I've ever owned.

I received a Trailing Point Lil' Temp last week, I like it but I would prefer the Mod. Spear Point. Everything is GREAT on this Spydie, but I just can't get used to the blade style and think that the Leaf blade would be much better for me.

Luckily, I have one of the Leaf blade Lil' Temps on order with our Lady Glasshartt....they are still hard to get a hold of, from what I hear.

I have the Leaf design and am very happy with it. In fact, I liked it so much, that I bought the Bob Lum Chinese knife.

The leaf design puts a tremendous amount of heft and muscle in the smallest possible package.

I now find myself splitting my carry time between the Leaf Lil Temperance and my Military.

Having to make this choice makes my head hurt.

I have the trailing point. I got a heck of a deal on it - and even though I wanted the leaf blade, it was too good to pass up.

When I first got it, I didn't know if I would keep it.

It's a very unusual blade shape. From pictures, it looks weak, and prone to breaking.

However, in reality, its a thick blade that is pretty darned strong. And, it cuts very, very well.

It takes a while to get used to.

Now I am very attached to it. I think it is probably one of the best folding knives ever built.

And, I don't want the leaf blade version anymore. Sure - it's probably great too - but the trailing point is darned near perfect.
