Well, I made a vid showing my many uses, etc. Maybe I'll show it tomorrow? We'll see.

It shouldn't. How big is the raw video file?

I tried a different method. Here's my vid showing uses, etc. not sure how public Sal wants it, so you can only view it with this link.

I am not sure what the question is. It is not hard to find a good knife. You just have to be willing to pay for a quality knife.

Let me explain...

Image

1. Jazz saw a hole in sypderco's offering (no pun intended)
2. There was a short discussion about it
3. Out of nowhere, the owner of spyderco created, and then sent, a prototype of a completely new blade shape to Jazz
4. There was much rejoicing, and Jazz has been reporting on his use of said knife
5. Welcome to the forum, this thread is actually a perfect example of why we all like to come here

Bravo on the fine knife video, Jazz. I am really wanting to get one now. I also enjoyed the background music. Is that Vivaldi by chance?

Great Vid!! It really got me in the mood to cut up some stuff! Now my girlfriend's angry with me because I've cut up things all over the house, shaved the cat, etc. :)

It looks like the knife's working out great for you!

Jazz,

I'm curious, have you ever designed a knife before? Any experience making knives? It looks like you're a chef so I'd imagine you know your way around a knife pretty well due to that fact.

Being a new member around here and not really knowing everyone's personality, when I first read this thread I honestly thought you were trolling. I really enjoyed how everyone had constructive criticism and didn't just blow off your idea. You were asked real questions and you gave genuine and well thought out responses.

I really appreciate the respect everyone gives each other on this forum.

Thanks for the video, Jazz. It's very cool to see it in action especially since Sal & the team helped to transform it from a dream into reality in such a short time. Let’s hope it makes it into production, that design looks like a winner! Thanks again for sharing your ideas with all of us and I'm interested to see the continued evolution of the project.

I'm not Jazz, but I will answer that he has certainly modded knives before and I have exchanged a knife or two with him that I modified. I don't know that he has made knives. I know he is a real user of knives like myself and isn't afraid to put some scratches on them. Glad he started this thread, its a great example of how Spyderco responds to real life feedback. Hopefully we will all be able to put some scratches on one of Jazz's ITTGS Wharnie Delicas sooner or later.

Welcome to the forum.
So many knives, so few pockets... :)
