Nice review. I put off getting a Techno for a while, but am very glad I did finally get one. Your eval is spot on! Very strong, very capable compact knife.

I really appreciate your hands-on review. You hit a few areas that reviewers tend to leave off for worker's knives, such as closing with a gloved hand.
I keep getting drawn to this knife, but I think the pricetag usually throws me off. Given your review, I think I'll reconsider picking up this beast of a little blade. Cheers!

Exellent review with great pictures! I have used my Techno for similar tasks under about the same conditions and I strongly agree with your conclusions. It's one of my absolute favorite knives and a great collaboration between Spyderco and Marcin Slysz.

I hate reading reviews like these, because it makes me regret selling my Techno even more. I should have kept it, and just gone without groceries for a week or two.

Great review PiterM. It's good to hear how the Techno holds up for an extended period.

Thanks for awesome review and pics. Made me go grab mine for some pocket time!
I have been so amazed by its level of refinement from the first moment I picked it up. Makes me think about getting a Bowie to match.
