They do help me with a list, but it's not that straightforward. You don't just know which is which right? So it's a matter of photographing everything you can, multiple times because you only have one chance, and then cross reference which knife can be posted and delete the rest etc... It's a fun puzzle though, but not something you'd just lean back and take a snap or two and call it day. I'll try to shoot more pics/impression of the meet, but once the knives start trickling in, it's time to stick my head in the light box. :D

A few random pics with a cellphone to post immediately on twitter/instagram would be very tricky because you'd run the risk of accidentally publishing a concept model that's either on a table or in someone's hand or lap etc...

Does Amsterdam law allow you as a visitor to carry a Spyderco knife with you from your hotel to the Spyderco meet location, or, can they only carry knives in locked cases? Also, are people allowed to bring food and drinks into the actual meet or is that not allowed?

Hello knifenuts,
I'm really looking forward to the Amsterdam meet tomorrow! Surrounded by enthusiastic knife lovers who are all fan of the Spyderco quality and look is indeed my best gathering of the year.
This is my sixth meeting and I tell a lot of people that I don't know of another company which is so involved in the opinion of their clientele and really act on our demands!

So hope to see you all again tomorrow and can't wait to see what's on the table this time in Amsterdam :)

Tot morgen!!

I CAN'T BELIEVE I JUST SAW THIS!!!!

I spent a great deal of my life in Amsterdam....where will this event be held? Where can I find out more information? Will there be things for sale there? For example....can I send a friend or a cousin of mine there to pick up a Military S110V or a 52100????? If I ask them to go for me....they will. If I was there, I would go either way....but since I'm not, I will only send them if they can do some shopping. Can someone please let me know ASAP!! Thanks!

It's a inveted only meeting the first 80 how respond to a call here on the forum will be in.
There will be no sale of any kind.
It's just a boring meeting :) where there only will be talking about spyderco's knives up and coming.
Search the forum for more info...☺

Ah! I saw the the thread and decided to just ask because the time was so close....darn. I was dreaming maybe there were some blades for sale there that I might want and I could send a family member or relative there to go pick it up for me. I'm not that lucky. I'm sure it will be fun either way! :)

Can't wait now for the fabulous pics that will be forthcoming from Mr. Blonde. There's sure to be some surprises in the next few days.

Truly hoping for some pics/info on the Caribbean. For some reason that one has really captured my attention.

I can't wait either, but hopefully we all remember it's a lot of work for Wouter, he's doing it of his own free will, and to be patient for his excellent coverage. My favorite thread every year.
- best wishes, Jazz.
