Would that be sheepsfoot in H1?

Straight edge blade with a rounded but blunt tip.

I definitely hope it's Plain Edge, though.

Here is a chart that shows traditional blade shapes. Scroll to the bottom.
(it is also good for learning knife terminology)

Everything that a knife cuts, it just does not excel at piercing. A sheepsfoot is basically a wharncliffe with a blunted tip. They do well at rescue and marine jobs because they are less of a danger to cut a patient in use or stab a barefoot while fishing if dropped. The only sheepsfoot I have really ever liked is the Pingo and this is due to it having more belly and tip than a traditional sheepsfoot.

I find it great for cutting cardboard, etc. It doesn't slip on the curve of the blade like a bellied blade. Lots of experience at work with both, and the straight edge rules for my job's doings.
- best wishes, Jazz.

Love that this Manbug version is in the works, but was really hoping to see a Dragonfly 2 version first. As an H1 SE Salt preferably. :)

And back to the original topic, I've said many times that ounce for ounce, the G10 Manbug is the most awesome Spyderco available! It was my very first Spydie (this Caly 3.5 was number two) and a mainstay carry for me. I have had a grey Roadie on my keychain for the last six months or so but I expect this FRN Mbug will return to its rightful place soon! Cheers, Radioactive :)

Radioactive,

Who made those scales for you? Also, did you dye your Manbug's G10 or did somebody make those scales, as well. I remember seeing these before but I do not remember the details. Those look very nice.

I've wanted a Manbug for a while, but I'd rather see a sheepfoot version, or even a leaf bladed version. I'm just not a fan of the huge belly on the front of the blade.
