love these mad rushes, the stretch should be around for a while if the SB was any indication, I'll be getting one just to keep the set going, but the stretch doesnt seem as popular as a few of the other models.

Bummer. I like the new pattern more than the old one. I got rid of my old ZDP Stretch and have been poking around at getting the new one. The HAP 40 would have been a great way to get the best of two worlds.

Yeah, the SB Stretch hung around for quite a while. I am not too worried. ;)

Yep, I prefer the new design better too but I'll be getting one of these Stretches (will be my first) just for the steel!

True, the SB Stretch isn't as popular as the Endura or Delica, but looking at recent ended SB Stretch Ebay listings the prices are creeping up, not as fast as the others but going up nonetheless. If you can avoid the rust issues SB is a great steel and I think a lot of the SB knives were bought to actually use. Making BNIB versions a bit rarer.

I think I will be picking up a Hap 40 Stretch before they are sold out.

I just ordered 2 by phone. There were only 3 left. Right before I hung up I decided there was no need to be greedy and canceled one so somebody else can enjoy it. ;)

Thanks for the heads up.

They were gone by the time I saw this, but I was able to get one from gpknives. Some places such as NationalKnives do still have the HAP40 Endura in stock.
Which Knife, A or B? get Both! (and C, D and E) :)
