This is my new love. Finally I could not resist to the temptation and my wife gifted it to me for Christmas.

Only one word to say: wow! Its fame is well deserved. It comes close to perfection. Good job again Spyderco! Amazing!

However, I would prefer less blade length and a little more blade stock (just like para1). Hence, I am strongly looking forward to the Minuteman!

Good Sunday to everyone, folks!

Congrats! I too am eager to see the minuteman. I think in the mean time you need to grab a DFly, delica, gayle bradley, chaparral, sage, mantra, and a military ;) :D

I guess the name Minuteman has also been shot down (used by another company) so we're still trying to name the new model.

How about calling it "Covert" or "Operative" or "Stealth" as a progression from Military to Paramilitary to this new model.

That's a real bummer Sal. I liked that name a lot. Since each iteration of the knife is getting smaller (Military, Paramilitary) and the names reflect that how about something like citizen, freeman or national? i think that's what you were going for with minuteman right?

I do think Paramilitary 3 works since it's the third of series and its 3 inch blade.
Most recently acquired: Military 2, Paramilitary 2 Tanto x2, YoJUMBO, Swayback, Siren, DLC Yojimbo 2, Native Chief, Shaman S90V, Para 3 LW, Ikuchi, UKPK, Smock, SUBVERT, Amalgam, Para 3 CTS-XHP, Kapara, Paramilitary 2 M390
Grail Paramilitary 2 M390 X 2! ACHIEVED!!

Sorry to read that, Sal. Whatever name you choose will work for sure.

Militia makes sense to me. The Minutemen were a well equipped militia group after all.

To the OP, congrats on the PM2!

In regards to the name, maybe the Phalanx (Greek army unit)? Rebel? Battalion? Squadron? Detail (smaller than a military)?
