Paper catalogue

#1

Post by toomzz »

Some time ago I ordered the paper 2016 catalogue in the USA. Today it reached me in Europe. Every time I receive a ´Spyderco-catalogue´ I am suprised how appealing and complete it is. Of course this year is the 40th anniversary but what a complete and ´perfect´ document compared to catalogues of many other products (incl. other knifebrands) It is marketing over the top; colour, form, text, fonts, pictures everything is optimalized, my compliments! Just wanted to say this

I particularly like the fact the images are life size. After I downloaded the electronic version, I printed the page that had the Southfork & Sprig on it. When I cut out the sprig picture and stuck it on a piece of cardboard, it gave a me a very good idea of the size of the Sprig in hand. This enabled me to order the sprig online with confidence.

Great point, OP. I have been quite amazed at the quality of the Spyderco catalogs--especially the 2016 catalog. It seems like Spyderco continues to raise the bar not onlu with cutlery but also in their publications as well. I am very impressed.

I received my catalog a little while ago. This year it is full sized. Very impressive. I wish I would have Shaman.

Absolutely agree. The 2016 catalog is incredibly nice, both in print and digital form. Whoever designed it deserves a raise! :)

If it's been more than 4-6 weeks since you submitted a request online, please submit another request. We send requests in weekly batches and even with the high demand this time of year, most everyone should have received their hard copy by now. Please keep in mind that our catalogs are quite popular and they do go "missing" from time to time in transit.

Thank you, everyone, for your continued interest and support. The catalog is a team project and we take great pride in the finished product. We're glad that you are pleased with it!

Just got my catalogue in today and it's wonderful! It's already sold me on a couple of models that I wasn't really considering beforehand. I have now added the Positron and the GB2 to the list.

Now I'm going to take it to work tomorrow and start selling them. I wonder if I can get some commission? haha
