The Starmate is an amazing knife, one of my favorite Spydercos. It's one of the knives I like so much that I bought a backup.

Do it! Love mine, and perhaps even more than my Dragonflies. I work in an office most of the time and it's a favorite knife for work.

I thought that Caly3 and Bradley have fairly good sale. :o

My top choices Natives5, Calys, C83 Persian

I did too. But I guess they still have to make room somewhere for the new models, even if something is selling moderately well. The good news is that most, if not all, of these models should be readily available for quite some time from now. Silver linings and all... :)

Oh, love for the LB, just not the SSLB. If you have tried the FRN one the difference is staggering. I have a SS Dfly and it was a gift, otherwise I would be crazy to add all that weight for no real ROI. The SS Dfly is beefier and probably less prone to blade play, IMO, but on a knife that small hard use is a fantasy

Yeah, I figured that would be the case, the only SS I have are the Delicas and Enduras, and yes they're heavy....getting these more from the collector perspective....trying to get one of each, and when I see discontinued, I panic....I've had the LBHB on my keychain for a while now, that's probably the only LB I'll use, I really like that one.....for a tiny knife.

So, no more Caly 3? Really?

It means the only Caly left on the catalog is the Caly 3.5 CF.

Hopefuly all this precedes some New/Sprint versions for both models. :)

And no more SS LadyBugs? Come'on...

Maybe is time for a fantastic new LadyBug Hawkbill in S30V! :D
It appears there will still be a PE SS Ladybug, the "tattoo" version.

As for the Caly 3, it may be gone, or the CF/ZDP-189 version may just be giving way to new version that hasn't been announced yet.

I need to get an Air in my life before they go away.
On my radar: 110V Military, Police 4 and some sweet Rex 45 Military action.

Newest Spydies: S90v Ti Military, Pacific Salt and a special Kiwi.

The Air and Caly 3 are surprises (hoping the Caly 3 is staying in the form of sprints). That being said I have those so may only miss out on backups.

The memory is one I am going to miss out on because of cost unless I can score a discounted one. Other than that nothing that makes me want to go out and buy more knives.

Even if you cross all fingers *and* toes, then hop on one foot, holding your breath while repeating "there's no place like Seki, there's no place like Seki, there's..." that's gonna be a long shot!

But I hope you're right ;)

What are people's thoughts on the Ulize?

That one's been on my wishlist for awhile and I may have to pick one up when it goes on closeout.
