I'm definitely into this one.

One of my guys is in love with orange stuff, so I'll probably gift him one.

Blade swap time!

A brown handled S90V M2 LW would probably go OK on BF or Ebay.

These are not easy blade swaps or I would be all over it. I already have the brown XHP and would love to do a swap.

What makes the LW a harder blade swap?

Pinned/riveted construction doesn't allow you to take them apart....

I'd think that could be an advantage, capturing the ball carrier and spring in the handle while the blade is out, but visualizing how something might work and actually *doing* it are often much different.

I think this is a bit steep for a LW in S90V, but that is my opinion. I love the color, though.

Darn, $30 more than the KC XHP Exclusive. S90V is fairly old fashioned, I'm surprised it's more expensive.

I wasn't going to get et one but the picture cutlery shpppe posted made me reconsider. Then I saw the price and changed my mind again. I have a hard time paying that much for a lightweight, no matter the steel. Just a personal preference of mine.
Most recently acquired: Military 2, Paramilitary 2 Tanto x2, YoJUMBO, Swayback, Siren, DLC Yojimbo 2, Native Chief, Shaman S90V, Para 3 LW, Ikuchi, UKPK, Smock, SUBVERT, Amalgam, Para 3 CTS-XHP, Kapara, Paramilitary 2 M390

Its the same price as the S110v.
I know s110v is a higher end steel but in practicality just by a margin.
I love the orange FRN so i bought 2.

It seems to me as though selling an exclusive in S90V for $3 more than the standard production S110V model is very reasonable. I cannot imagine that the cost to manufacture them is that different.

I thought it over and ordered one too. I've really enjoyed CS and Jeff over the years. I figured I'd give him some business and deep down I really want this one.

I'm admittedly a sucker for Manix2 LW variations, so I've been waiting for this one a long time. I'm a little less excited about S90v, but historically I've been able to get a more aggressive edge on it than S110v... though maybe that's all in my head. Regardless, I can't wait for this one to show up in the mail.

M4 DLC with orange next time please!

Also, lets see more black wire clips right?

So sell me on orange knives...I am not a "tactical Ted" but safety orange on a knife just makes my inner ninja unhappy.
