What if you could transform your favorite Spyderco folder into a fixed blade? Which one would you choose? For me, I'd love to see a fixed blade DF, maybe just 30% larger.

I know this would probably never happen but I'd love to see it the other way around with a Southfork folder as a companion to the fixed blade.

I'm going to say the H1 SE Spyderhawk Salt. It's large enough, useful enough, and I think would be a mainstay in the serrated hawkbill fixed blade market, especially given that it doesn't really exist as of yet lol. If it existed with a good sheath I'd have one permanently mounted to my climbing harness.

I agree. The Dragonfly has such perfect curves and I think it would translate nicley into a lil fixer! (Just a bit larger than current DF2 size)

Perhaps I'm just being an old fart who's set in his ways again. Whatever the reason, I can't think of a single case where I'd want to give up the ease of carry the compactness of a folder provides. To gain what exactly?

I am absolutely satisfied with what I have: I love my T2, Lum Tanto and Forager. All of them look good in my display case :)
As for EDC, nothing can beat N5 :D
