Happens to my GB2 also, though I thought it was because i lightly sanded down the lock contact points on the liner and the blade tang because the lock stick on my version was horribly unbearable.

Open up the hole the detent ball rests in a tiny bit. I used a small cone-shaped diamond bur I have. I put the bit in a small pin vise and turned it by hand a little at a time until it was to my liking. I did this to my Sliverax. Same idea for the GB2 or any other knife that uses a detent ball. My GB2 isn't too bad. Not sure if I'll tune it or not
