Ok now this upcoming lineup is going to break me.have you seen the msrp's.I have to have all three.start with the brend ,piramba love bowies and walter brend designes I have two custom ground autos from protech and they are sweeeet.cf scales bearings linerlock two tone blade.im droolong here.now the myrtle.superb materials cf anodized titanium realy cool grind wich I can see beeing usefull.then the vrango cool gentlemans semi tanto with excellent materials again .I am going to put some overtime for these boys.anyone handle any of them?if so please tell .especially the brend.

Given that I'm retired and living on a fixed income, I guess I should consider my self extremely lucky that today's crop of Spyderco collaborators lack the inclination, or perhaps the talent, to design midlocks.

If they were mid locks they would be less expensive?

I gotta say, I have no real use for the Mamba, but **** is that one beautiful knife.

I'm more interested than the GB2 and positron but all 3 are bueatifull.

That's a good question. I wouldn't think mid-locks would be necessarily more expensive, per se. It's just that I think Paul is afraid he'd be selling off another kidney if more mid-lock designs were on the horizon. ;)

Deacon is left handed. Midlocks are ambidextrous where as frame locks are more suited to right handed individuals.

They're all pretty but these days I'm more conservative in my selection. I wouldn't carry any of those. GB2!
