passing of a member

Not to be downer, but I just heard of the passing of "gijoe945".

Joe was a long time collector and routinely went to Blade and many other shows. He was an early Spyderco fan and had a good memory for those vintage pieces. He liked Sal real well. Although it would be hard to remember so many people by name, Sal knew him by sight. Joe was a member of the Iowa knife guild and known and respected by a ton of people. Served in the Marines btw. He was in his 70's. Very few people more fanatical about knives then Joe was.

I remember the name. It sounds like he lived an admirable life.

Hopefully his legacy lives on and he rests in peace.

Rest in piece, sir- thoughts and prayers with the family too
Warhammer 40000 is- basically- Lord Of The Rings on a cocktail of every drug known to man and genuine lunar dust, stuck in a blender with Alien, Mechwarrior, Dune, Starship Troopers, Fahrenheit 451 and Star Wars, bathed in blood, turned up to eleventy billion, set on fire, and catapulted off into space screaming "WAAAGH!" and waving a chainsaw sword- without the happy ending.
