Post by HarleyXJGuy »

Anyone here changed out the scales on there CF Chaparrel?

Does it have liners or is it like say the Sage 3?
On my radar: 110V Military, Police 4 and some sweet Rex 45 Military action.

Newest Spydies: S90v Ti Military, Pacific Salt and a special Kiwi.

Yes, and... Yes, it has liners. (And yes, Steve is good at modding Chaps, if you're heading that way...)

*PICS HERE*
Absolutely beautiful. Do you use them at all RadioactiveSpyder? They seem too pretty to use. I saw your wood dragonfly too and that was exquisite as well. Your collection is amazing.

Thank you all for the kind comments. Yes ninewalker, I do use most of my Ketchen customs. Of the ones above, I frequently carry the Chap and Southard (haven't carried the Manbug yet though) and both are well used. The Koa brothers as I call the Stretch and Dfly haven't been carried, although I do take them out and stare at them frequently!

My other main Ketchen carries are my desert ironwood knives, which have all held up extremely well, even with keys and other things bouncing off them every so often. I guess it's true to the name! Thanks again and Steve deserves the credit for making them so amazing, he's extremely talented! Cheers, Radioactive :)

Most of my Ketchen modded knives are users.

The Southard is indeed cut "Ketchen-style" with the second (inner) cutout obscured with the first primary cutout.
