S110V models

I've seen that Sal said all the USA made models will be getting the dark blue G10 and S110V treatment. Does that mean we will see a Manix XL and Yo2 in S110V?

Here's a quote from the green forum regarding the Para 2 and then some...

Well we already have the lw Manix and Sal has confirmed that the PM2, Millie, lw Native and UKPK will get the dark blue s110v treatment. Yojimbo 2 in dark blue and s110v would be interesting but I think I'd rather see the Manix xl in a different steel.

Manix XL needs M4.

M2 or M2 XL in Either in M390 or Elmax Rc62. Then I would give you my dog. I have read these two steels preform really well with high RC.

I have been using M2 S110v for a month now and it has preformed great. Once you get it to the edge you want it is easy to maintain that edge. Getting there does take a little work. It has proven very tough (yes I said tough and I meant to ) :D and good edge retention.

M4 would be another great option along with 3v or 4v. I guess the problem with these steels is that they are not stainless and therefore wouldn't be so popular with the non "afi", buying public, probably better for sprint runs. I have to say though, I haven't had any rust or staining issues with my 2 Cruwear knives. Maybe the solution for these type of steels is to coat them with DLC or Ticn like Rockstead do?

Sal mentioned a while back that they were looking to use some k390 on certain models. The Manix XL would be a great candidate I think.

I would really love to see Sal weigh in on this...... S110V is the topic at hand, and any other steel would fall into the sprint category.

While it would be awesome to see a cruwear or even an m4 manix XL..... the dark blue G10 has me hooked and S110V would be the icing on the cake :)

I would like to see it as well. If I had to guess..... I would think a Royal Blue, but who knows. Maybe Sal can post a picture of the one he is carrying?

A S110v Yojimbo 2 would be awfully cool and dark blue handles might fit in well with jeans.

If this comes to pass I will probably wind up with the Native 5 LW and UKPK, here's to hoping the UK is G10 if/when it comes!
