Endura FRN vs. Lil Temperance

Which of them is better for EDC? I own an Endura now and here are the things I like of it

Handle -- lond enough for my hand, flat and comfortable to carry IWB.

Blade -- long and sharp, cuts trough everything I tried.

And what I dislike

Handle -- flimsy feeling of unlinered FRN.

Blade -- Scares all the girls in the room!

And 50/50 -- understood? that i don`t need a serration.

Lil Temperance seem to be a nice choise. What do you think?

I would think the endura.I have looked at and handled the Lil Temperance and while I like it and it is a better quality knife that the endura it seemed to be hard to get in and out of the pocket.May just be that I am used to the sleek lines of my other Spydies and this one seems a little clunky as far as the shape of the scales.I think it is the protursions toward the tang that turned me off of it.
Seems the if the current trend continues there will be knives wider than they are long.

I have had my Endura SE for about a week. I love it. I always carry a PE(3" and under) a SE and also CE(Military)...

The Lil Temp is my next knife purchase, and it's waiting for me to pay for it. Getting the Drop Point(Rhino Horn) PE, and then sending it off for a belt rig(horizontal, blade down, butt to left).

I'm getting the lil temp because of the wide belly, flat grind, and lock. Almost the perfect food prep knife.

For EDC, I would go with the Endura!! But if it´s to flimsy for you, wait until the CF Delica gets out and get that. A lot smaller, but also a lot cooler!!<img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>

Get the Lil'Temp,you"ll love it.I carry a Standard (just like the Delica but with a G-10 handle) to work every day as it handles every job that I need it to do and doesn't alarm the sheeple too much.After work and on weekends I carry the Lil' Temp. It's just as usful as the Standard and then some.An added bonus is that it is a SERIOUS MBC knife if that need should ever arise.

I count myself lucky to be able to carry just about which ever <img src="spyder.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0> i please daily.
Having said that 90% of the time the 50/50 FRN Endura always goes for the ride.
I've read alot lately about the chances of FRN <img src="spyder.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>s breaking under pressure, and i'm sure it does happen.
But i'd wager it's very few and far between, of the 2 mentioned the Lil Temp is by far the beefier knife(redneck term) but I wind up leaving it at home more than i carry it. just my opinion though, my advice is to buy them all <img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0> Ron

well, i have never seen(in person) nor hadled a lil temp.... but i had a SE endura for a while... i loved that knife.. like you said, it can handle just about anythin gyou can throw at it. if you don't trust the endura handle you could get a police... that's what i would do..

The problem with police model is that it seem to be too big for daily IWB carry. And the "sheeple factor" -- I get enough of these " Ok, what do you need THIS for" looks.

Aren't these stainless grips slidy? I tried a stainless police( it was the first spyderco I ever tried), and i remember that they felt a little ...too polished maybe.
If you used stainless Endura hardly, what is your opinion on them?

I've owned a Leaf Lil' Temperance for about 6 months now and I really like it. I really love the ergonomics (feels like it was built for my hands) and the blade shape really lends itself to utility work. It's the <img src="spyder.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0> that, more often than not, makes it way into my pocket!

I wanted to say nothing bad about an Endura.
Great thing it is and so on. But sometimes there are points you don't pay nesessary attention. Espectially when you are newbie, and knife you are buing is the third in your life :-)
Unfortunately now I've no chances to buy anything( Just ran out of any money. Have just enougth to watch "Two Towers" :-))
