SpyderLady Season's Greetings!

#1

Post by Kahz »

Hello SpyderFolk! Long time no see!!!!

I have been too busy discovering every little corner of this wonderful city, but I never forget my SpyderRoots.

Current EDC's: Still my beloved "El Raton" and my wonderful "Chinese Folder" (howdy, Carlos! *waving*)

I just bought myself a X-mas present, but I will have to admit it was not a Spydie (oops!). It was an Eternalight Rav'n torch! Couldn't help it, I love lights and much as I love knives! Anyhow, my new year's resolution consists of a Spyderco Kiwi. What a sweeeeeeeeeet knife!!!!!!!! Any reviews out there?

It's good to be back, been gone about 7 months, but I am still alive and kicking up here!

Welcome back, Kahz m'dear! How're things on your end of the stick?

Reviews float about on the Kiwi. Most people say it's an incredible knife, though some say it's too small. I usually suggest they shrink their hands, then try it!

Never underestimate the impossible.

4 s ter,

Loving every minute of it!!!! I love this city so much! Never a dull moment in TO, even in the cold of night. Got myself a bad cough, so I am taking it easy this weekend. No more dancing around at 3 a.m. in sub-zero temperatures. But, I will be at the forum much more frequently after the "holidaze" are over.

I missed you all! S&S, I saw those contest posts, I am going there now.

Vampyre,

Well, Chicago is not precisely the sunny south.

Here's a brief history of Kahz in TO since May 2002: Landed, very quickly, in May, very nice customs officials (hats off to them), found a nice apartment within two weeks, took a holiday to Upstate NY and Boston, ate a lot of clam chowder, found a job in TO within 3 months, took a holiday to Quebec City and loved it, partied a little too much in the last 7 months, fell in love with TO, decided to remain in Canada the rest of my life, worked over 50 hours every week for the last four months, spent too much money at clubs and restaurants, need to save money for more Spydies. LOL!

Can you tell I love this place? Still, I can't believe I stayed away from the forum for so long. Been back just a few minutes and I am already addicted to it!

Hey Kahz welcome back and glad to hear you are liking TO. I went to school there for a couple of years. Have you checked out S&R Knives yet at Woodbine mall. In TO they are the best for blades that I found. Take care have a Merry Holiday(LOL)

Kahz,

Hi there, and welcome back. I've always had fun in Toronto when I've visited too. Glad to hear you like it so much. Did you notice that one of the Bladeforum contests is to win a Kiwi??? Isn't that timely? Good luck.

I have missed you around here. All the very best to you.

Jeff/1911.

My spending this last year has been due to cash... the last week has been great for new toys.

SpyderCard from the local B&M store... day before I left this summer(end of june)

Millie, Merlin, Native, Meerkat... all from Linda. Great prices, great service.

Endura, Salsa (x3), and 'kat all came from tuesday-friday.

EDIT: Kahz> see this one yet?

G'day Kahz,

It's really good to hear from you again. I'm glad everything is going so well for you. I'm sure you'll love the Kiwi, it's my favourite knife for dress wear.

All the very best for Xmas and the New Year.

Take care,
Clay
