Your favorite knife lube

What's you favorite knife lube? Dry or wet?

I'm leaning towards the dry type myself-Tuf Glide from Sentry Solutions.

Tuf-Glide's nice, except for the odor. I tend to lean towards Zoom-Lube machine oil for my blades.

I also use Tuf Glide. I like the fact that it dries and doesn't pick up dust and lint the way oils do.

Ditto on the odor of Tuf Glide... gag.

Militec-1 is my favorite. I don't buy their stories about how it bonds to the molecular structure of the steel and makes your children smarter, your car faster and your wife prettier, but it's a **** good lubricant.

Miltech is the cats azz when I can find it.
Here in South Carolina it's scarce.
2nd in line is Break Free Clp aresol, then Rem oil.
I dedicate 1 knife to just a food cutter and on that 1 it's mineral oil. Ron

I have used both Birchwood Casey Synthetic and Sheath for years. Decided to get some-Tuff Glide and didn't think the one ounce bottle would be enough. I got the 8 oz. along with a 1 oz. (with applicator). Was a mistake. Now I have enough for 2 lifetimes. Turns out it is almost identical to Sheath anyway. Jerry

Break Free CLP. I use it on my guns, on my knives, and on my wife (when she needs it.<img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>).

I've used 3 in 1, Rem oil, but my current fav is mineral oil (ingestion-safe).
