Little Big Knife.. Big surprise

Drop Point Serrated Meerkat
Drop Point Serrated Meerkat

Of all the Spydercos I have bought & traded for this year none has surprised me more than the long discontinued Serrated Drop point Meerkat I bought used online from a small knife seller.

several months back I bought and instantly boxed up a Super Blue Dragonfly bought from the Box Shop that I will soon sell on the other forum. This predecessor has the heft the feel and the form & function that went right in my cargo pants pocket to be an instant EDC favorite.

Give me a Superblue Meerkat Sal,

First Spyderco knife I bought. Love it to this day. The action gets better as time goes by and the feel never fails to impress me.

Two knives that Spyderco discontinued instead of upgrading that I never understood the reason why they did that. One is the Meerkat and the other is the Salsa. I would love to see these re-introduced with better steels (especially the Salsa).

I have to admit my Meerkat doesn't get the pocket time it deserves. I bought the Burgundy one a year or two ago and I love it, I just never seem to carry it... I'm gonna give it another shot as my backup instead of the Dragonfly :)

Congrats and enjoy
I have the old reverse S in full Spyderedge. Nice little knife.
Don't carry mine all that often though because it came with a fair amount of side to side play.
But great knife to fool people with ( like Sal did with me at the 2006 A'dam show LOL) :D
