Lance,

I just received my latest copy of the BLADE Magazine (July 2015, pg. 20) and saw your awesome article on Spyderco's Salt series of knives. I thought to myself, "Hmm. That's funny. This guy looks a lot like Lance from the Spyderco forum... :D ). Great article and review! I also enjoyed your pictures too. Keep up the good work!

Neat, I'd like to see it too! I honestly had to check twice that it wasn't you Lance posing as the model in the 2015 catalog ("Mr. Half and Half-Man") ;).

Congrats Lance. Also, while on topic, last month Jim Ankerson had an article published as well.

Good job guys. It makes me proud!

Thank you guys! About six months ago I was speaking with Phil Wilson about a knife he was making for me and he made a nice comment about my writing and suggested that I submit something to the magazine. I had a good time putting the article together and it felt nice when they emailed me back and said they'd like to use it. So thanks Blade. And thanks Phil for the idea and the encouragement and thanks to all you guys for the knife education that even gave me enough knowledge to write anything in the fist place. Oh yeah, and thank you Spyderco for the great subject matter!! :)

I have an online subscription to Blade and they send me an email notification every month when the digital version is available. The digital version is nicely produced and reads well on my iPad or computer. Not sure if you can buy single copies or not. Out of curiosity, does anyone know where I could pick up a hard copy in the U.S.? I am visiting a friend in Utah next week and would like to see an actual magazine. Does Wal Mart carry Blade? Anyone know?

Also, congrats to Jim Ankerson on the article! Does anyone have information on that? He told me he had something coming out but I can't remember the exact magazine/issue. Jim, please post the details if you see this so we can get our hands on that.

Congrats Lance.

As far as where to pick it up, it varies store to store. The one place I've seen Blade magazine consistently is Barnes and Noble.

Nice one Lance! I noticed you haven't been around much lately so I guess this explains it, you've been busy burning the midnight oil :)
