Exclusives. Also, someone will eventually buy that instead of going to the secondary market. If you don't mind having the stock it's not a terrible strategy.

The good news is, you don't have to buy from them unless it's one of their exclusives.

No knife is so good as to support price gougers.

Here we go again, another bbs derailment. I shouldn't comment but can't resist. Selling for msrp isn't price gouging and they are not the only ones doing it. We are spoiled by our prefered online retailers and their deep discounts. If Spyderco enforced a map pricing system like Benchmade does then bbs wouldn't seem as expensive. Don't wait too long and you won't have to pay the price.

Back on track, I can't wait to see some in the wild pics of this one. :)

Let's hope spyderco doesn't do anything stupid like map enforcement. They'd lose as many customers as benchmade has, probably more.

Back to the PPT, can't wait to get it!

I have a love-hate relationship with knifeworks. I love their prices and selection, and my checking account hates it. :D
This order makes five knives ordered from them in just over a week. I wonder if I can just direct deposit my paycheck with them.

This gave me a chuckle thanks. I want to take advantage of their nice price but my knife budget is next to zero right now. Ouch.

There's one up on ebay now, with a bunch of actual pics, should be pretty easy to search for.
