Glad to see another one of these videos pop up! :D
Loved the Meet Your Maker special on Spyderco!

And most people including myself would die to get the little guy shown at 3:25 :p
The knife that made the iconic Spydie look and feel.
Great video and thanks for letting us know!

Wow, wasn't aware that Eric is only a year younger than me. I'm now extremely envious of his childhood LOL.

Hearing Sal talking about how he made spyderco makes me feel 2 things.

First feeling is that it makes me believe everything you want is possible if you work hard and thank you Sal for teaching it again and again!

Second feeling i get is i want a new spydie... :o

Hi Folks!

Absolutely fantastic vid! :spyder:

Really awesome to check the first 2 prototypes, and certainly there was the original DNA of the Worker.

A vid trully worthy of being archived, and now eagerly waiting for the second part. :D

Great!
Sit down, relax and enjoy what you see and hear ...

Thanks for making this educational video and for advertising it here.

I guess I'm not alone when I ask for more of it, much more please.

My wife and I just finished watching the video. Excellent work, Sal, Eric, Spyderco Crew and Blade HQ! I will continue to be a life-long supporter of Spyderco in light of the tremendous character and integrity standing behind each product they make. :) Very proud to be a part of this Spyderco Family. Thanks!

Great video, thanks for sharing all that with us and the world! Couple thoughts:
1. Is that Solidworks?! I'm using that right now! Seems leaps and bounds ahead of the CAD programs I learned a few years ago. Fun stuff!
2. I always thought "spyder" was associated with convertible tops more than just performance, though it could have just been a narrow viewed coincidence. Either way, you don't find cheap spyders...except for that Mitsubishi. Thoooough I guess it wasn't all that bad in its day. Now I just wonder where the Europeans got the word from.

Anyway, thanks again Sal, Eric, BHQ, et al. for that video, I could listen to you guys talk for days. And I think I'm going to have to finally get me a BaliYo!

Haha! He's two years older than me. :p You know, I'll admit I'm a little envious of Eric, really. I mean, I grew up with LEGO's and Lincoln Logs and thought I had it made. Man, to be able to grow up with butterfly knives and Spydies in your play-pen--now that would be sweet! :)
