Amsterdam Meet 2015 Report – Announcement

#1

Post by Mr Blonde »

I just got back from the meet and, yes, it was an amazing event! There were more than 80 new designs that Sal & Eric showed us. From that collection, I can publish about 20 knives. I took slightly more than 1,700 photos total. I only get one chance to shoot these knives, right? I’m very much looking forward to diving into all these images, to crop, edit and finish them and to add the proper notes and info. However, I will be attending the IWA Show this week. And before I travel to Nuremberg, I still have to show up at work for a day or two ;). Because of this, I can start the report with all the photos next week on Tuesday the 10th. That way, I can compile the images and proper data for the best possible report. I hope you’ll understand. Trust me; the wait will be worth it. There are some amazing prototypes coming out in the following year!

Iwill try to see if I can give you guys a ‘taste’ tomorrow, but I’ll have to make sure I got the right knives selected first. I’ll publish it in this thread.

That is bad news for us, but it is understandable. Have a nice trip, Wouter. I look forward to the report.

This is very cruel. Telling us there is so many new knives and then we have to wait another week to see pictures. Its going to be a looong week.
