2015 Forum knife request, by popular demand!

a full SE Cruwear Millie. Read attached thread, lots are interested. I would sub a PM2 SE Cruwear if that was what Sal and Co prefer. The thing I really like about it is it is such a Spyderco afi knife and not something all the posers and flippers would try to jump on board for a quick grab. SE is one of the 3 things that separated Spyderco from the pack originally (clip and hole being the other 2 of course). This is of course assuming a forum knife was planned for 2015, not being presumptuous. Cruwear seems like a great steel to run a SE sprint in

I would be good with this. Honestly though, as much as I love my militaries I would rather see them do this with the pm2. You can buy a cruwear millie now and you can buy a fully se millie now. You can't get either in the pm2. I think a serrated cruwear pm2 with a nice 3/4" of pe at the tip would be an amazing knife!

And I agree with your points about this making a neat forum knife. Flippers might be discouraged and serrated edge is really "going back to their roots" and would be appropriate for a forum knife imo.

SE CruWear Millie Forum knife gets my vote for sure, with runner up option being either PE or SE CruWear in the PM2 platform.

I hope for something unique, but personally I'm not a fan of SE so will pass if that is what it comes down to. But my preference should in no way count against the preferences of those who want SE ! Cruwear PM2 would be great (have a millie already), just for me it would be in PE. Honestly, I'd also prefer a new steel choice entirely for the PM2 or Millie, something that emphasizes toughness but still with good wear resistance. 4V or even 3V (not enough 3V folder choices out there :) ).

I could see it as a sprint but not a forum knife. I don't think there are near enough SE supporters for that.

Tbd is just trying to come up with a scheme to get a serrated millie in his hands as quick as possible. Sprints take to long! :D

On one of the exchanges. They come up regularly for fair prices.

Someone mentioned there was a thread about this. Anyone have a link? I'm curious about the pattern they use and would love to see some pics of how their work turns out.

Maybe not quite as deep but that could be a good thing too.

I do love my cruwear millie. I am interested in trying out SE. But mos def a se cruwear millie is not my choice for forum knife. Just make it a(n) m4 pm2. Or a cruwear pm2, or a s110v pm2. Please. M4 pm2. Please.

Yeah, that was part of my motivation! The anti flipper/Spydie purist forum knife. I was so disgusted by the last Fever pitch on the Native I bowed out and did not even attempt to get one. I am like that though, I remove myself from things that put burrs under my saddle. I know serrations would be not everyone's first choice but if it were SE, maybe folks might try it and discover part of what made Spyderco great. It wasn't always boutique steels and colored G10. It was pocket clips, thumb holes and serrations that put Spyderco on the map.

I would support a SE PM2 in any tough steel. Military would be second choice.

Please please not gray G10...
