It was hard to decide on this because of the confusion about which knives are LBKs. If I go by time carried, it would have to be the Dragonfly and Japan... but if the Dice qualifies as an LBK at 4.05 inches closed and 3.7oz, then the Caly 3 certainly qualifies at 4.05 inches closed and only 3.0oz. So with these criteria, the Caly 3 would definitely be a shoo in for me...... now I see that the OP didn't include the Dice, though some voters mentioned it, but he did mention the Chubby, which is 3.7 inches closed and weighs in at over 4oz. If it qualifies, I think the Caly does too.
I have personally thought of the Caly 3 (and especially the 3.5) as a "REAL SOME KIND OF A" little big knife, so I'll go with it and go back and vote for the Japanese selection :) -- oops the site's down right now, so I'll vote as soon as it's back up.
In the meantime, honorable mention goes to the REAL little-bitty-big-knife I'm pining for now, the foliage green G-10 Urban, and also the black FRN Squeak -- which I just ordered after reading a review of it at Mr. Blonde's Spydercollector site. I was already pretty well sold on the Squeak, but when I found out it was the basically the "cockpit" section of the UKPK/Caly design, that cinched it!!! (And for $43.25 you can't go too far wrong
)
I'm also keeping an eye out for deals on a Cricket, Spin, or Jester... so it looks like my fave LBKs right now are coming mainly from Japan, with a nod toward Italy (Squeak).
BTW, I don't think the OP was implying that we would be choosing by country based on ideas of quality of construction. I think he was just using country of origin as a way to organize the knives and make it possible to consider dozens of models in one poll
