looks like everyone is getting calendar photos ready this week. :D this one isn’t calendar ready, but here’s a native salt swimming through the coral in hawaii.

Definitely a couple tough decisions to make here. I was torn between attila and bbturbodad for the runner up, so I wrote down each name on a post it note and held them one in each hand and had my step daughter pick a hand. The winner goes to attila with what had to be a difficult shot to set up, and with what's pretty rare to see...at least for me, a praying mantis.

The winner was an easy selection for me, as this photo has been talked about in numerous threads this past week...Filoso's shot of the Native 5 Salt. I think even if it wasn't black and white in the background, it still would have been a great shot. The contrast with the bright yellow to the black and white was a great touch. Really an awesome shot!
