Here are my picks for the week (sorry for the 1 day delay!).
Chosen based on the idea that in my head I could see these situations as the user pulling the knives straight out of their pockets for a spur of the moment improvised photo in their surroundings.

Winner is Mushroom with a fun shot of a new classic Sage 5 on a tree side ledge of fungi!

Runner up is bfk with a pair of my personal favorites in tasty flavors, stuck in a post maybe pondering following the dog out into the woods for some fun!

Warhammer 40000 is- basically- Lord Of The Rings on a cocktail of every drug known to man and genuine lunar dust, stuck in a blender with Alien, Mechwarrior, Dune, Starship Troopers, Fahrenheit 451 and Star Wars, bathed in blood, turned up to eleventy billion, set on fire, and catapulted off into space screaming "WAAAGH!" and waving a chainsaw sword- without the happy ending.

Sweet, thanks Speedholes! It was certainly a spur of the moment shot. I was out in the woods with the dogs and went to check out the giant burl on one of the trees and was surprised to find so much chicken of the woods near it.

Looking forward to this weeks entries!

Thanks for the entries everyone! Sorry I didn't get to this yesterday.

I'm always surprised by the amount of great pictures submitted here, and this week is no different.
Remnars Delica really provokes feelings of winter holiday, Demoncase entered another great shot with one of his many rare Spydies! Had me stumped for a little bit too, Adventura? Italiano submitted a great shot of a Native 5 emerging from the darkness, Spydergirl shared a great shot of the Kahr Delica on an interestingly textured background! Sharp Guy submitted a nice scenic shot, pairing a couple great steels! Abbazaba's shot of the Gayle bradley has some great depth and very nice Contrasting colors. Speedholes submitted one of the great tools for the job on an experienced work bench! Aliaspostmortem gave us a great detailed shot a Sage with a nicely composed background, Beardfacedkiller did a great job at illustrating the great diversity of the PM2 series! Is that a serrated PM2? nice!

With that said, This weeks winners were a challenge to pick as always. The winner this week is Aliaspostmortem! The entire shot is very well composed, and the background is just too interesting. Are they little spikes of frost? Great shot, either way.

The Runner up this week is Demoncase. I really enjoyed the contrasting light and colors created by from the sun. This knife also seems to work great for creating a silhouette with some visual interest because of the uniquely pattern handles!

Thanks for the entries this week everyone!

Congratulations to the two of you!

Those ice needles are reminding me to appreciate this unusual extended autumn weather we are having in my area of the world. This same time last year we had about 5in. of snow on the ground.
But, tomorrow I think I might take the Harley out after work, or go mountain biking! It'll be about 60degF and dry!

You gotta do it, before its too late! It hit low to mid 60's here today and I had to get out on the bike! I was riding on Christmas day last year though, it was a weird winter.
