This is the "clear" and zoomed out version of my calender submission. You can see the Crucible sign in the middle of the Spyder hole on this Lil' Native CPM Rex 45.
It's unreal how near you are to the place where most of our knife steels are are born!
I was pretty excited once I saw him posting here! I work about a 1/2 mile from Crucible. My works steam stacks are just out of the frame to the left of his photo. Funny thing is, Crucible always seems pretty quiet...from the outside. Doesn't look like a lot going on there. Him and I should request a tour :)
Very nice! I know its probably a long shot if visitors can get a tour, much less take photos inside, but it would be great to see what goes on inside this place. :)

This is another sign they have there, couldn't agree more!

And ya know what...It's my submission for the week because without Crucible... there wouldn't be many of these Spyderco knives to post in this thread anyways :p

Here's my first entry in quite some time, the Native 5 in a bed of fresh mulch.
I'm happiest with Micarta and Tool Steel.

Top four in rotation: K390 + GCM PM2, ZCarta Shaman, Crucarta PM2, K390 + GCM Straight Spine Stretch.

Thanks ladybug! You’re right about that. But since it’s a UK based collaborator, wouldn’t that make it a “Nessie” sighting? ;) :D :spyder:

I feel like this same guy did this the last time he won a couple months ago. He doesn't frequent the forum like a lot of us. As soon as I saw him post, I knew his pic had a chance and it made me worried haha.

Just saying, a runner up was initially only chosen for when the winner can't judge for whatever reason.

It might be worth sending a friendly reminder to the runner up at this point.
