Hi Woodpuppy, it is a Black Widow PSAX in Osage (except for the limb tips) which grows all over the pace here.
The black and red string should have clued me in. I didn’t know BW was using that scrolled lam in the limbs now. Osage is some gorgeous stuff!

Thx Jeff! It was a pain to get on. Turns out my Tuff ( bought it from ed himself ) is one of the early pieces made. I found that one out because the huge stop pin go’s true the liner for about 2mm and hides in a dent made in the scale. The guys who made my new custom scale had a normal version where the pin was made flush with the liner. Was that a wonderful surprise… i did not want to send my knife to germany so i got 2 options either grind the stop pin flush or get to work on the scale. 1 drill and an hour of carving very gently with my Manix XL later the scale finally fitted. :zany

Looks great and I'm glad you got it all to work in the end. It looks well worth the effort.

Great pics Apollo. Some good ones this week
Thx Jeff it was a fun week to judge they were all very good entry’s.
I even doubted my choice a few times but ran with my original thoughts in the end.
Apollo, I appreciate your consideration and thoughts in choosing my pic as Runner-up. A lot of good ones so I feel honored.

Thx! Yes it is well worth the effort i am very glad with the result. I always love the design but the original scale does not give the design justice for me. Not that the og scale is ugly ore anything , far from but the knife is so well build it screams to be improved. :grin-big eyes
