Okay, apologies, I can see what you mean with the moderator stuff, though that isnt what you said, i didn't even consider that. but who wants to win and get the opportunity to judge just to have someone win by default? And who would want to win without competition?

When I was "complaining" I was simply light heartedly encouraging other members to join in the fun. I was excited to have the opportunity to judge, so I bumped the thread a few times. I didn't think I would have someone upset with me for it.
Far from upset.. I was actually doing the same not to long ago. Sorry, I'm not upset though. I hope shut73r makes it back.

Here's my favorite I've taken this week.

I'm happiest with Micarta and Tool Steel.

Top four in rotation: K390 + GCM PM2, ZCarta Shaman, Crucarta PM2, K390 + GCM Straight Spine Stretch.

Yeah, they're a thin layer of denim micarta over g10. Rcbladeworks. I like the feel in hand of solid micarta better, but I think these look nice with the two-tone blue.

I think most of his stuff is solid micarta or terotuf. I actually didn't realize these were layered with g10 when I bought them (my fault, not his), but he's got great-looking scales lately.
