Re: Spyderco Photo of the Week Contest!
Really, really lovely pictures this week - all the spring colors, moss and flowers, just beautiful! But I decided to go in a different direction for the win this week, and chose Holland's excellent black and white shot for the win. I could see this picture in a magazine ad or on promo materials - it feels very classic to me.
Runner up goes to Wartstein because all his knife and scenery pictures are amazing, and this one is no exception!

it was my first knife when i was a kid. it was lost somewhere along the way. i really should replace it just because. i’ve held off because i want to many other knives to buy one i probably won’t carry. although, it would probably be great in my fak.
keep your knife sharp and your focus sharper.

Re: Spyderco Photo of the Week Contest!
It would be fantastic in a FAK! Fits neatly in an altoids tin with various other things.
I’d like to have one in BD1.
Re: Spyderco Photo of the Week Contest!
if spyderco is listening, i'd love a ladybug salt with red and black zome that looks like a ladybug. i'm not sure why this doesn't already exist. it seems so obvious.Woodpuppy wrote: ↑Mon May 18, 2020 6:12 pmIt would be fantastic in a FAK! Fits neatly in an altoids tin with various other things.

That's funny, I've had the exact same idea for a red and black zome ladybug! :cool:ladybug93 wrote: ↑Mon May 18, 2020 6:36 pmif spyderco is listening, i'd love a ladybug salt with red and black zome that looks like a ladybug. i'm not sure why this doesn't already exist. it seems so obvious.Woodpuppy wrote: ↑Mon May 18, 2020 6:12 pmIt would be fantastic in a FAK! Re: Spyderco Photo of the Week Contest!
Thanks, Julia, I am honored! I am lucky that there are so many nice backgrounds where I live and I just randomly have to push the buttton on the phone - when it comes to pure photographic quality there were some clearly much better pics posted this week than mine..JuPaul wrote: ↑Mon May 18, 2020 7:12 amReally, really lovely pictures this week - all the spring colors, moss and flowers, just beautiful! Oh that WOULD be cool!!
