Winner this week is demoncase with this great abstract.
I really like this, how if I were to show anyone who isn't knowledgeable about Spyderco models, they might not even guess this is a knife, nor what size it is. Nice angle.

And, runner up, is Aliaspostmortem with this clean textural shot. Nice capture!

Thank you Speedholes for the honour!.....I was in two minds about keeping this one for the Calendar Competition, but figured it was too much fun not to share immediately. :)

I have donned the judge's hat for the week (Should be 0800 GMT Monday 19th, God willing and a fair wind).....I can't wait to see all your entries!

Thank you for all the wonderful submissions- another tough week!

Speedholes- I love the colour balance between the burgundy FRN and the wood background- and a model that's close to my heart
Abbazabba- Subtle grey on grey tone to the whole photo that is pleasing
Filoso- Very square angle to the shot lets us really see the shape of that Spydiechef
Mic1 Good to see the 'family' together- but one picture next time please! ;)

So- to the winner: Mushroom took this utterly beautiful shot of the Fluted Native on what might have seem like a boring day- but the overcast skies and the wet rocks all compliment grey titanium. If anything, the thumbprint on the blade adds a touch of realism.

Runner up is Remnar- This is polar (see what I did there?) opposite to Mushroom's winning picture- The colour of that customized Mantra is reflected in the greeny-blue icicles. There's an ethereal quality to the shot that I really like.

Congrats to the winners! I didn't stand a chance this week. Partly because I forgot which day it was and forgot to contribute! :) But now...

Since it's winter over here anyway, I give you something that sounds like a Disney show:

"Sage on Ice"
