Man Bug in Different Colors?

#1

Post by chloe »

Do you think that there will ever be a Royal Blue, or an Orange, yellow, Red or any other color of the G-10 Man Bug?

It is listed in Gray, but has it been offered in other colors, and this again is the G-10 version?

Thx,

Chloe!

It's only been grey, I'm sure, but you never know what Sal will do if we ask him nicely. I'd personally love a carbon fiber one without bolsters. I'm loving the Manbug and have been since the beginning of summer. Great, tough little knife.
- best wishes, Jazz.

The G-10 Manbug has only been offered in grey. The FRN version has come in black, British Racing Green (ZDP-189 steel), and light grey (Aogami Super Blue steel). I'd imagine that we'll see other colors pop up on the FRN version. The G-10 version is probably much less likely to get offered again, so I wouldn't get my hope up on alternate G-10 colors in the near future. I certainly wouldn't mind seeing a few more colors offered. Orange always seems like a good seller. I can certainly see it coming in yellow if they decide to offer a H-1 steel version.

That's cool, Sal. Are you meaning FRN or G10? Brown would be my choice FRN.

Lime Green would be Hi-Vis and consistent with the "Bug" theme

If we're looking at new colors for FRN, I would like to vote for Lime Green. :D Hiredgun, back me up on this.

Edit: Paladin beat me to it! :)

Don't feel like the Lone Ranger SpyderNut...You're not the first buckaroo Paladin has shot out of the saddle ...and he's slapped leather against many a "Hiredgun" to boot! :p

Yes, but only if it still retained the same width of the FRN ones because it fits the hand so perfectly. If so, I'd be all up on that. Still, carbon fiber would be better and you know it. ;)

Hi Chloe and all, you mean a beautiful blue gem like this? :)

My first Manbug is now sporting some black scales:

I'd certainly love to see some more G10 colors or (ahem, peel ply) CF or titanium even. Love the Manbug, it was my first Spydie! Cheers, Radioactive :)

Sal,

Could you do the Safety Orange or Royal Blue? These would , I think, be big sellers, and would match the larger G10 Models many have. I like a Knife clipped on my pocket, and one on a key ring.

Any consideration would be fantastic.

Radio,

Yes, just like that. Coyote, yellow and lime green would be nice, too.

I know that I would buy most of the color except black, no more black knives for me.

These in color would be great, I have almost all of the Lady Bug, Delica and Endura colors? White, orange, purple, pink, a couple of Green models, and more.

I would vote orange, lime green, and I'm not sure what sal calls it...but its the ffg delica/endura shade of blue they have out right now, bright and very cool.
