case of barc's and case of Dr. Pepper...
Like I said, we can work out a deal and I'll take a few cases... the only thing is shipping.
And shepherds we shall be, for thee my lord for thee. Power hath decended forth from thy hand so our feet may swiftly carry out thy command. And we shall flow a river forth to thee and teaming with souls shall it ever be. In Nomine Patris, Et Filii, Et Spiritus Sancti.

I'm a Supervisory Customs Inspector of a land border Port of Entry in Santa Teresa New Mexico. Due to the nature of my work I usually carry three to 4 <img src="spyder.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>'s, my endura II or Bob Lum T. in my right pocket, Cricket on my ammo pouch (to cut dope for samples from big bundles, best knife ever made for that!) spyder wrench in pouch on duty belt and usually something in my boot just because.

Oh yeah, I'll post for Linda, Lady Glasshartt, cus she has been really busy lately.. she is a Detective with Sheriffs Department (19 1/2 years) and carries maybe 4 to 6 <img src="spyder.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>'s because she can.

I install, configure, and support software. I also train users on its use and occassionally customize it. It's rare that I have to use a knife when I work, and then I only use my SS PE Dragonfly (sheeple friendly), to open hardware boxes and the like.
I have worked in environments where I opened boxes, tore them down, and cut up cloth. The SE rescue is the best knife for that kind of work. Particularly so because I had to open boxes of clothing without cutting the contents.
I carry knives because I never know when I might need one, and I'm always thankful when I have one around. I carry several because they each fill a niche (and for backup).
Being a parent of young children, the leatherman wave is probably the most useful tool to have at my side. All the toys are strapped tightly to their boxes (designed for display, not ease of opening), and everything that requires batteries now has to be unscrewed to replace the batteries. I still, however, prefer to use my spydies to open the boxes.
What's funny is that my eldest will tell me, "Dadda, cut it, knife." any time a gift arrives.

Praise not the day ere evening has come,
a sword before it is tried,
ice before it has been crossed,
and beer until it is drunk.

One other interesting thing, my wife's grandfather witnessed a person bleed to death in a car accident because the seatbelt was jammed and no one had a knife. This was several decades ago. From that point forward, he refused to wear a seatbelt and always carried a knife.
I wouldn't advocate driving w/o a seatbelt, but the story illustrates that you never know when a knife might be needed. And there really is no replacement for for a good knife.
