New Lum Tanto/1ST Sprint

#1

Post by MacLaren »

Hi guys, I found this on BF just the other day listed as New and Un-used. And he wasn't kiddin' either. The knife, the box,the edge u cation paper- everything was immaculate. I'm really glad I got it. Its my first Sprint Run Spyderco as well. I will be putting this one in the safe, as I doubt very seriously that I'll ever use it. I would perhaps like t fins another to use, as I really like the design and tanto blade itself. Without any further ado, I'll get on to the porn :)

Very nicely done! One of my favorite Lum designs. Great pics too, by the way. Do you plan to EDC this one?

Edit: Ah, I see this one is destined for the safe. :) Might need another one to carry. Too nice of a design not to see pocket time.

This knife is pristine. Looks to me like a New Old Stock piece.

Thanx Kid! It really does. Some guys can just get em and put em up lol. The back up Vallotton I got was in this condition too.

Nice pickup Mac! Good price too... I like the looks of this knife very much but I find the liner lock bites me every time I disengage it and it pulls a little piece of skin off, so I mainly look at it in its box with mild apprehension and suspicion these days. ;) Cheers, Radioactive :)

Seems like another sprint would be a no brainer on this model. I was talking to my wife about my new CF Yo2 and how awesome it is and how its basically the most sought after combination of scale and steel. I told her how cool it was that the combination of the two was put into my favourite knife (Yo2). She stopped me and said, well what about the Lum Tanto? I laughed and said, that would be even better but it will never happen. NEVER!

Prove me wrong Sal!

You keep mentioning the Vallotton and I'm gonna have to get another one ;)

I had one.

Didn't like it as much as I thought I would.

Hate tanto folders!

It is a looker though/

Very nice. I personally don't like tantos as users but I guess that isn't a user. I am in the minority and love grey G10. Great score, enjoy it!!!!
