favorite movie quotes?
ok, I'm bored(if you couldn't tell)...
What is your favorite movie quote, and from what movie?
I'm sure at least one person knows where the one I know have as a sig came from... if not, your all hopeless. The best movie, I even have it playing in the DVD player in the comp as I type...
And shepherds we shall be, for thee my lord for thee. Power hath decended forth from thy hand so our feet may swiftly carry out thy command. And we shall flow a river forth to thee and teaming with souls shall it ever be. In Nomine Patris, Et Filii, Et Spiritus Sancti.

I have two :
"I'll make'em an offer he
can't refuse." Marlon Brando
in "The Godfather"
"What we do in life,
echoes in eternity"
Russell Crowe in "Gladiator"

Due to having an exceedingly bad memory, some of these quotes might not be word perfect.
"Why have you got a number shaved in the back of your head ? Is it in case you lose it ?" - The Last Boy Scout.
"Oww, we're getting beat up by the man who invented scrabble" - The Last Boy Scout.
"I just woke up with a dead squirrel in my lap, I'm worried I might have f****d it to death" - The Last Boy Scout.
An OK film, but some excellent quotes.
Walk softly, carry a big stick.

"What we have here is a failure to communicate."
- Cool Hand Luke
"I love it when a plan comes together."
- Hannibal from the A Team (cheesy show, and not a movie, but a great quote).
"Gotta figure out what road we're on. It's like Bob's Road."
"Trust me ... Rabbit is good, Rabbit is wise."
- Twister

Praise not the day ere evening has come,
a sword before it is tried,
ice before it has been crossed,
and beer until it is drunk.

Too many movies.....too many quotes.
In my military mind, the opening speech from George C Scott in Patton is classic but I'll opt for Col. Jessup's defiantly inspirational lecture after his immortal, "You want the truth?? You can't handle the truth!!!" remark. In A Few Good Men
And I quote, "Son, we live in a world that has walls, and those walls have to be guarded by men with guns. Who's gonna do it? You? You, Lt. Weinburg? I have more responsibility here than you could possibly fathom. You weep for Santiago, and you curse the marines. You have that luxury! You have the luxury of not knowing what I know. That Santiago's death, while tragic, probably saved lives. And that my existence, while grotesque and incomprehensible to you, saves lives. I know deep down in places you dont talk about at parties, you don't want me on that wall, you need me on that wall. We use words like honor, code, loyalty. We use these words as the backbone of a life spent defending something. You use them as a punchline. I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who rises and sleeps under the blanket of the very freedom I provide, then questions the manner in which I provide it. I prefer you said thank you, and went on your way, Otherwise, I suggest you pick up a weapon, and stand post. Either way, I don't give a **** what you think you are entitled to!"
....and almost any quote from Pulp Fiction!
One of my favorite's and another long one is where Jules in an moment of inspiration reveals his thoughts to Ringo in the restaurant robbery scene, "There's a passage I got memorized. Ezekiel 25:17. "The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the inequities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he who, in the name of charity and good will, shepherds the weak through the valley of the darkness. For he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who attempt to poison and destroy my brothers. And you will know I am the Lord when I lay my vengeance upon you." I been sayin' that sh*t for years. And if you ever heard it, it meant your ***. I never really questioned what it meant. I thought it was just a cold-blooded thing to say to a motherf*cker before you popped a cap in his ***. But I saw some sh*t this mornin' made me think twice. Now I'm thinkin': it could mean you're the evil man. And I'm the righteous man. And Mr. 9mm here, he's the shepherd protecting my righteous*****in the valley of darkness. Or it could be you're the righteous man and I'm the shepherd and it's the world that's evil and selfish. I'd like that. But that sh*t ain't the truth. The truth is……you're the weak. And I'm the tyranny of evil men. But I'm tryin', Ringo. I'm tryin' real hard to be the shepherd."

From Dracula (The Original):
"Children of the night.....What music they make"
From Frankenstein (The Original):
"It's ALIVE!! Oh,it's ALIVE"
