This should be a winner. The CTS-204p on my PM2 is proving to be sooo nice.

The new exclusive is also available with a bundle of those PE Lil Matriarchs, but this time....... it's at a discount! Way to go BBS, sensible thinking and looking after your customers interest as well.

Brutal.

G10 is the way to go with the Domino though. I put a coarse black G10 scale on mine (same texture as Southard) and it made the knife 100 times better. The incredible traction of that material vs the cubic check CF made all the difference in the world. I hope that this blue version will be coarse G10 also, but I doubt it... I also wish they had done the new black Southard with coarse vs fine G10, would've matched my dyed scale perfectly! (And here's my compulsory pic...). Cheers, Radioactive :)

Dunno about Crucible steel, but I hear 204P is about equivalent to M390...

For BBS maybe, not so much when you can find the regular one for $70-80 less... Bet you could find a blue G10 scale cheaper than that too. Now you don't get the 204P that way, but XHP is surely no slouch.

Ankerson's testing has it with a bit better edge retention than M390. Smaller grain structure from the Micro-melt process and just a touch more tungsten may have contributed to it. I did not see a published HRC number, so it could have been run harder too. It approached S90V in cutting tests, with higher corrosion resistance from a whopping 20% chromium content. My PM2 with 204p has been outstanding. Home run for sure...

Wish enough of us could stick together and send a clear message to BBS once again.

It's closer to $290 after taxes and shipping. Lets see how long this stays in their inventory. S90v Millie and Elmax PM2 and Matriarch still sitting in their closet.

Except for the biggest Domino fans who has to have it, I expect that this wont move, esp for that price. Regardless how you feel about BBS.

I'm not a fan of their policies and pricing but yeah, those BBS folks put out some crazy good exclusives. This 204P Domino sounds awesome, but I'm not sure if it's awesome enough to make me part with $250.

I'm going to have to get this one. It is above the N5 S110V in priority for me.

Can't wait!

It's not $250.

$274 with shipping except in CA. It's $290+ here with CA tax.

So? If it's not worth it to you, that's fine with me. If BBS can get Spyderco to make awesome exclusive runs for them, they are legally entitled to list/sell the knives for whatever they want to. As buyers, we can chose to fork out and get it, or not, simple as that.

Please don't try to ruin the spirit of a thread just because you think it costs too much.
