Product registration

#1

Post by adairjs »

Whenever I get a new Spyderco knife, I always go to the product registration page on the Spyderco website and add it to my holdings. My KnifeCenter exclusive Native in CTS-XHP/Brown FRN, however, never seems to have shown up on the model name or SKU list, so I can't register it. Anyone know what gives?

I didn't even know this existed! That's what I get for being gone so long.

Have you tried selecting "OTHER (not listed)" from any of the drop down lists? This will open two new data boxes so you can enter model number and description.

Excellent, thanks. I never noticed the "other" in the pull down list; it scrolls pretty quickly.

My question is: "What if you fail to register and have to return it a year later for warranty work?"

I've never registered any of mine and I've sent two in for warranty work without a problem.
