Spyderco Flag Day Contest

#1

Post by Joyce Laituri »

Enter our Flag Day Contest for a chance to win a Spyderco Knife!

[/size]
Spyderco is an international company. Since we have customers and fans all around the world, we’d like to give you a chance to win a Spyderco knife just by showing off where you’re from.

Submit a photo that contains a Spyderco product(s) and a flag of where you are located. You do not have to be in the photo. We want to see just how wide spread our product and customers are! ONE submission per person. Winning photographs will be chosen based on creativity and quality of the photo, not based on location or distance of where the flag is located.

There will be 3 winners total each receiving a Flat Ground Delica with a colored handle. We will choose color handle randomly upon time of winner selection. Contest will close Monday, June 16, 2014 at Midnight MDT. Winners will be announced and emailed Friday, June, 20, 2014.

IMPORTANT: Must be 18 or older to enter and claim your prize. Please keep in mind that there are various laws and regulations regarding knives throughout the world. If you are selected as a winner and you live in a region that prohibits us from sending the intended prize, we have the right to substitute your prize as we see fit.

Already entered on the Spyderco website. Thanks for running the contest!

Here is the pic.

The story behind this picture:

I found this flag on the ground in the dust in downtown Key West, Florida.
The knife is the Spyderco World Trade Center. What better knife for this picture than one made in the US, in remembrance of those who died?

You might notice that the flag is tattered at the corner. I belive that this is fitting for this picture, as it shows how the 9/11 events harmed the citizens of the USA, but that as a whole we held together and persevered, much like this flag. The WTC knife is also a symbol of remembrance of those who lost their lives on that day, and a promise never to forget.

Thank you for considering my entry, good luck to everyone, and always remember.

Thanks for another fun contest, the legend of the backward flag holds the stars of the flag in the revered position of forward...always...like cqi..always. As a Colorado native and lover of sharp things I thought I'd try a composition of sorts.

Good luck to all participants.

Love this contest! I am here in the USA, specifically the San Francisco Bay Area of California. Good luck everyone!

Here are my PM2 and Millie. They are sitting with a small USA flag that I found on the ground while on a run today, luckily I rescued it and restored it to its rightful glory!
